Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
Sunday, January 18th
Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is celebrated on the third Sunday in January as a day for pastors, churches, and life organizations to bring awareness to the value of unborn life.

A woman facing an unplanned pregnancy came to our clinic, overwhelmed and leaning toward abortion. She and her boyfriend felt like this was not the right time, that they would rather wait to be a little more financially stable and plan a pregnancy.
Because of your faithful support, she met compassionate staff who were able to share accurate information on her pregnancy options. She received medical confirmation of her pregnancy and got to see her baby on the ultrasound, already beginning to take form. In the center of her little one's chest, she was able to see the flutter of her baby's already beating heart. She left feeling unsure about what she should do.
When she returned for her repeat appointment, she shared that they had chosen life for their baby! Though unplanned, she was able to see the beauty of the life growing in her womb, and at her third appointment, she was ecstatic—celebrating every movement her baby made.

These tiny lives have intrinsic value and possess immeasurable worth. As we celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, we reflect on the beauty of unborn life and are reminded of why we are dedicated to offering life affirming resources to women facing unplanned pregnancies on the Palouse.
